Coach tour of Canada.

My partner and I have toured the west coast of America by car in the past, and last year had a three weeks trip of the Rockies planned, unfortunately, due to an eye condition, I can no longer drive, so we are left with the option of, perhaps, an Archers type tour.

I have always thought that this is a very expensive way to have a holiday as their hotels are charged per room and yet we are charged individually.

Also, it appears that we will have to eat where the coaches stop, without any choice, and, as we are both veggies, this could present a problem for a lot of the time.

Can anyone offer any advice, please?

I have heard that Titan Tours is very attentive to people with special needs. You could do worse than ring them and find out.

We did Jetsave (which is part of Thomsons) last year, on the Rockies, it was a very reasonable price for a trip that included Banff, Jasper, Vancouver and a 2 day trip on the Rocky Mountaineer. Each place had plenty of variety of places to eat and it was not the case of the coach stopping at just one restaurant. Lake Louise was fabulous as well. Because we were on a coach and not driving we saw brown bears, grizzly bears, moose, deer, bald headed eagles among others. Vancouver was superb.

Never having been on a coach touring holiday before I was a bit dubious, but it was superb. A great laugh as well. All the hotels were mid range but fine and your suitcases were loaded and unloaded for you.

Although we were Jetsave we came into contact with Cosmos, thomas Cook and all the other tour parties.
No Matter what you do there will be critics.
