British gas fixed price end sept 2009

I have just received the weekly Martin's money email and this week it was about capped Gas and electric prices. I am currently on British gas fixed price 2011, which i thought was capped until 2011, but according to this email the cap ends sept 2009, is this right??

    No you are capped till 2011 so your prices are fixed till then.

    Capped prices in 2009 are for people who capped their prices around 2006/07 I think.

    So this news does not apply to you.
