                    Hi,
I have had a Natwest Currentplus account since end of May, I have ran it very well with lots of credits in and debits out, I have a overdraft (Never Used) and a cheque book, I have never been overdrawn or had any bounced items etc. I was given a solo card when I opened it, but was told by the branch to run it well for a few months and they could look to upgrade that to a servicecard.
I also currently have £1,000 in it and £33,000 in a E-Saver. Will that all look good with the balances or does that not influence them at all, and should I try to upgrade now or wait until Monday as that would be into August.
Thanks.

I would suggest you wait until Monday and speak to someone then - the easy way to find out would be to ask them to replace your card and see which one you are approved for.0

You might as wait until Monday now. If the system says that you can have it the branch can order you one. If it still doesn't and your account conduct meets certain criteria and you have a clear credit reference search then another department can re-look at it at the branch's request.0

If I was not eligible for it at the moment would I automatically be sent it when I was or would I have to keep applying.
Thanks.0 -
the main thing is based on credit scoring however i would say that if you already have an overdraft facility there would be a good chance that you would be able to upgrade the card, the system does update ont he 1st of every month however if the system is not approving you for it you can do a manual application form and it can be then sent for review, but by the sounds of it you shouldnt have too much trouble getting it, but dont hold me to that!
you may just get a replacment if you were eligable for it when your card expired but this isnt always the case. Currently working for NatWest Retail. All posts however are my views and opinions and are not expressing the views of NatWest or the RBS Group, my posts are there to help!0 -
If all fails wait until the 13th September then ask for a replacement card and youll get a visa card anyway.
You wont necessarily get a CQ card but itll be better than your current solo card.Im an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0 -
You will usually be automatically upgraded when your card is due for renewal but that could be years. However in this case all card will gradually be moved across to Visa Debits anyway so you may wish to wait.0
