The only one on the blacklist that Brits are likely to have flown with is Phuket Air, and a quick search will reveal they have questionable safety standards. As a general rule, I will not fly third-world airlines, and Chinese airlines. Air India and Pakistan International have also had a few incidents over the past year, nothing too serious, but enough to make me suspect they have shoddy maintenance practices.
One airline that has managed to redeem itself is Aeroflot, I wouldn't feel uncomfortable boarding them nowadays.
In the U.K, I avoid RyanAir - nothing to do with them being low-cost, but more to do with dubious management practices. I'd rather walk.'We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time. '
