Make sure you have your reading glasses on when reaching for the green fly spray.
That way you won't pick up weedkiller instead and kill off all your plants.
Yes that's just what I did a couple of years back

Unless your garden is well soaked anyway, the best time to water is after rain. Bizarre.

You don't need to do the Chelsea chop if you have 3 boys who play cricket, football and tennis in your garden.

Slugs will eat anything. Even the ones that other gardeners are convinced they won't

Slugs will even eat gardeners if you die in the greenhouse, still, keep them off the chillies, especially if your diet had alot of lettuce in it.

Ah yes, don't leave bottles or boxes in the greenhouse, because the slugs and snails will eat the labels, and you won't know if you've got fertilizer or compost maker, let alone the dilution for using them. Same goes for seed packets

Plants will be rabbit proof in a neighbours garden but they will decimate them if you plant them.

plastic plant labels so lovingly written on and stabbed into your seed trays will rub off or sun bleach well before you are able to identify the 6 different types of tomatoes you sowed by the fruit!! (this a lesson I have still to learn/remember 3 years down the line of not knowing what varieties I am going to end up with once I have given away what I think are spares!!)
