Advice please about a faulty TV.

Hello all,
I bought a TV from Comet on 28 August 2007.
I had to take it back on 7 December 2007, as it has developed a fault.
They "repaired" it, but this week is has developed EXACTLY the same fault as before.
Of course it is out of warranty, but I was wondering if I'm in any sort of position to make any demands? I'd normally expect a TV to last a lot longer than just a couple of years...
Thanks, in advance, for any advice.
Regards,
Lee

i think it would depend on what you paid for it. you had it now for two years. if you paid alot of money for it i would argue and try and push for a repair. but check on the internet to see if others have had the same problem , if so then u may have a chance to prove its a manufacturer fault and get it repaired for free.0
