Basically Ive built a website using ASP aswell and it was all working fine but suddenly I keep getting error code saying

Error Type:
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers (0x80004005)
[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Operation must use an updateable query.

When i go to the code it says is wrong it says...
Set MM_editCmd = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Command")
MM_editCmd.ActiveConnection = MM_editConnection
MM_editCmd.CommandText = MM_editQuery
MM_editCmd.Execute
MM_editCmd.ActiveConnection.Close

but havent a clue what this means and what is going wrong as it worked about 3 hours ago and I have only changed a recordset :-(

As Chippy_Minton has pointed you to, it's most likely a permissions problem

Make sure your IUSR_COMPNAME account has Modify permissions (shouldn't need Full Control) for the folder the database resides in and the database MDB file itself.
