My asda jeans 3/4 & full length are now 2yrs old and wash great, i love me marksy's knickers got a good year out of them too, pj's its gotta be Matalan, love their 3/4 jimmys them too last ages,;). Can't really fit in primark stuff, don't find them very roomy, me myself i think Next, Dotty p's and the like, their clothes don't really last long, ive gotta say asda last far longer and washes really well.

Primark black linen trousers are as good as any. I bought four pairs this year for £8 each. They all crease, fade and go baggy, however much you pay for them.

Totally agree with everyone, I think KatP in particular summed it up really well!

I love Primark jim jams, I actually think they're really nice, esp the brushed cotton ones for winter, all snuggly! :D

I also agree with minerva_windsong about Topshop, their quality is poor for the price. I think they've got so up themselves since Kate Moss etc and believe their own hype. Well, I have news for you Topshop. Your prices are too high. You have some truly lovely clothes and bags (about 10% of your stock), some absolute garbage (80%) and some fashion victim fodder which most people would only wear for a bet (10%). And your jewellery sucks. I prefer Accessorize too - only in the sale, natch! :D

In that case, shouldn't you say 'are as bad as any'? :rotfl:

    Loving this thread!

I'd second primark for linen trousers, but have also had some lovely ones from H&M and Tesco. None of them have gone baggy or misshapen or faded yet despite some heavy wear, are you sure you are washing them right? They all crease to hell though, that is just the joy of linen!!!

Yup, I'm always very careful about washing. Had some from H&M once which shrank in the leg length. I always wash them inside out too, to help prevent fading.

    Terrible isn't it, Abs?

Did you mention wearing a Lacoste shirt for your interview earlier today? Better take a peek at this. Old article, I know but it was still in evidence when I visited 18 months ago.

Was the detail about what he was wearing serious?
I took it to be sarcasm and a mild p***-take..........
