trouble paying rent

My problems started this summer when I naively thought that I could easily supplement my SAAS payment of £200 a month, bringing my income up to £500 a month, by extending my hours and getting a second job.
I now owe 2 months rent to my landlord to be paid when I move out next month. I've already got 2 student overdrafts, which they won't extend.
I've been rejected for a credit card, presumably because I don't have any secure monthly income, just my part time job.
Thing is, I'm moving home in September and I won't be paying any rent to my parents, so I'll be able to afford to pay anything I borrow back.
Any advice, I would like to borrow £500-1000 to pay back everything I need to pay.
How can I go about this,
Laura
Edit: My parents know about this but are unable to help out.

Hi. I would suggest that you have a chat with your landlord and offer to apy in installments.
Also if you put up you SOA we may be able to advise further.
Find out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)

Statment of affairs - summary of monthly income and expenditure, so we can see where you may be able to save or cut back. I'm in a similar situation, though for a different reason, out of work causing rent arrears. Also are you claiming everything your entitled to in terms of benefits? Check at entitledto.com

On an income of £320 a month you would more than likely be eligible for local housing allowance and council tax benefit. Check entitledto.co.uk or give your council a call. You can have the benefit backdated up to 3 months as long as your circumstances were the same too.

Unless rules have been changed recently, students will not qualify for housing benefit unless they have dependants.
However, you should check this out with your local council immediately as not backdated.

I'm currently a student, in my penultimate year.
As I'm a student I don't pay council tax, but I'm not eligible for any other benefits.
I don't know how my landlord would take the news that I am unable to pay the sum back before our contract expires as my parents signed a form which stated that if I couldn't keep up with repayments they would step in and pay it.
My parents however are no longer in a position where they could do this and I wouldn't like for him to put my parents in such a position.
Any other suggestions, as I would like to keep talking to my land lord as a last resort.

I have a lot of frozen stuff, and I generally eat very little, so I'll maybe have some toast in the morning, and a frozen pizza or a chicken dish for dinner that I can spread over a couple of days.
