Why can't Online TescoCard show up to date balance anymore?

Options
I've got a Clubcard credit card with Tesco. In the past, you could view recent transactions on the day they were made. Now, it doesn't show transactions that were made up to 5 days ago.

So the summary at the top will say:

Credit Available:£200
Balance: Zero
Limit: xxxxx

When I scroll down to see what the £200 transactions were, it can't state them as it used to, they're all from 5 days ago.

I obviously know not to spend on it until I've transferred some funds to it but my point is if Tesco can tell me that there's zero credit why can't it give me the detailed transactions that I've spent the £200 on? I want to know what has gone through and what might not have done as some transactions take longer than others.

For some people, this could be misleading as they might really think that they have £200 credit available. It's also very frustrating to not be kept up to date anymore.

Has anybody else noticed this with Tesco Clubcard/credit card?

I'm more worried about the fact that you (are indicating that you) don't know what should be on there, and be able to add them up to make the £200, but instead are relying on Tesco's to tell you what is on there.

No, if you read my post properly you'd see that I do know what I've spent. Of course I do, however I want to know the order in which it's gone out. That isn't unreasonable in 2009. How is it there used to be a up to date record of transactions and now there isn't? There is a five day delay.
All I end up doing is transferring funds to another credit card account with up to date information on my transactions.

I'm using my card solely for a 0% BT, so I'd not noticed.

Tesco has reasonable telephone services (no overseas centres). I'd call and ask whether this change is likely to be permanent.

If you ring Tesco Finance on 0800 505 555, you'll avoid the perishing 0870/0845
    numbers ;)

I find the Tesco online banking thing really rubbish for just that reason, it takes ages to show up transactions. Its handy to check it every few days to make sure everything you expected has gone out and no unexpected things are on there.

I can see all my previous transactions for my Tesco clubcard CC. No idea why yours would be different

Has your statement recently been produced? If so you'll need to change the date in the drop down menu that says:

Select the period you want to see:

then hopefully you can see them.
