VISA electron usage fee with foreign currency?

Hi,
the departure country determines the currency
which is used when booking with Ryanair.
I suspect one cannot change the currency, right?
I would like to double-check the following with
you guys: say I have to pay in EURO-currency with
my Halifax Easycash VISA electron card then I have
to pay the conversion rate plus a usage fee of
£1.50 per transaction, isn't it?
