Will be interesting to see what the CRA's send back to me, I bet they will not give a representation as described above! No chance of that!
Enjoy the beers and have a good weekend. You too Bert&Ernie
No problemo, always happy to help where I can... have experience in originations, exposure management, pricing (interest & fees) and internal collections. Not so hot on external DCAs hence tend to stay out of those discussions.
This is my point of view only... Experian once came to our place (to talk about the sharing of additional info (cash trans, min payer flag etc - principles of reciprocity) and a colleague cheekily asked about what goes into the scorecard, knowing they wouldn't divulge. All they said is that we receive every single price of info about a customer that is fed into it. Yet try as we may, our internal scorecard is v slightly less predictive than the Delphi score (using gini). My assumption is that the bureaus look at changes in variables (e.g util last month vs this month, or 6 months ago vs this month etc). Reason I think this is that they are so sure we cannot replicate it despite receiving the same raw data they have used. For us to look at changes in bureau info is v complex as we overwrite the last months info on our platform each mont and do not store vintage data on our 'live' platform to enable us to use in strategies. Just my opinion as I say. They are v smug that we would never get to the same score.0 -
ps I have an iPhone and bloody annoying sometimes, hence random words sometimes (had to edit above post twice upon re-reading.. Must have put one key wrong and instead of 'lenders' I put 'lenses' grr).

Haha I'm actually happy with my phone, it's my fat fingers that are the problem! You know, the last nokia I had was the 3210! Would have carried on with nokia but got confused with all different versions- seemed like a new one out every week. Moved onto SE (sh*te) then LG (double sh*te) then apple.0 -

Thing is I thought the N97 worked like the advert where you hold it to the sky to get the temp - then someone stopped me in the street when I was doing it and asked what I was doing. He then (politely) showed me his name badge (Vodafone) and told me that the same advert shows a man pointing the phone to a taxi and his mate jumps out - do I think that will happen.....
Ermmm....... who's the dipsh!t? Niddy boy is :rotfl::rotfl:2010 - year of the troll

Night fella, and sorry (!). Yeah keep us posted, interested to hear the official line. Personally think all things bureau related should be public. Some people still beleive in the dreaded 'house blacklist' that doesn't exist (my personal pet hate). G'nite and I'm sure we will converse again soon, until then...0

No way, you're not telling me that a blacklist doesn't exist? They soooo do......
(haha sorry trying to start a thread extension so i'll pretend that a blacklist exists ok?)
Sorry - jest messing about!Under the Credit Scoring Scheme (1993 amd 2000), companies offering credit are not allowed to redline or blacklist a particular property and should only score individuals. The process of redlining or is where a whole area or location is charged extra for or denied services.
And then you see this!
