we have used the brits guide series and found them to be excellent. we have not tried the ny one but found the florida book and the california book absolutley great. they are full of tips and useful info. i know they do a new york one and i'm sure it would be up to their usual standards.0

Any of the Frommer`s Guides to New York,of which there are several differant, are in my view very good. What`s wrong with wearing womens clothes 54% of population do anyway

Lonely Planet Guide to New York City. Cant really fault LP but make sure you get the most uptodate one. Used them lots for all holidays abroad.**BERTIE**Did you Know: It costs more than £325,000 a day to run the lifeboat service? (with no government funding) Please donate to the RNLI0

without a doubt, the time out book is the best. we go to nyc at least once a year and find time out's city guide and the restaurant guide invaluable. we also purchase a copy of time out magazine as soon as we get off the plane.0

I've used the time out one in the past and thought it was a great guide to NYC too...0
