Hi,
I've purchased an item from an online seller (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-172-CM&groupid=701&catid=123&subcat
where the description quite clearly says the item is of modular nature.
Great I thought as they're £10-£15 cheaper than others.
The item shows up today and it's fairly obvious the one I've received is not modular.
I've requested via the company's web note system that they collect the incorrect item and supply the correct item, given I've purchased in good faith and actually want the correct item.
I've taken a capture of the description and their trading terms, which seem reasonable.
Is there anything else I need to be doing?

You can request the supplier to replace the item with the one you ordered, as they supplied the wrong one, you should do this under Distance Selling Regulations, (DSRs), you have the right to have the cost of the wrong item refunded if that is what you want.Don`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0 -
Hi,
Just been looking at PSUs myself, so have been going through this sort of thing a lot recently!
Looking at the main item name, I would say they have supplied you with the right one, but the description is incorrect.
They seem to do the Real Power (Pro) 1250, as you have ordered and recieved, and the Real Power Modular ones. I agree the description text is misleading but the product line is not (the others say modular in the product line).
The price when compared to the other ones in the coolermaster range would set alarm bells ringing.
I will be perfectly honest I always check the manufacturers sites, as I have problems like this before, and this may also have indicated there may have been a problem, as they do not do a modular 1250W!
I would agree with derrick and say return under the DSR and ask for a refund, perhaps with an explantion as Item not as described... Unfortunately I don't think you will be able to get the 'correct' one, as you either have it, or it does not exist! Actually, I would give them a call or drop them a line as they might think the have sent you a 'different' item, and resupply you with the same thing!0
