Out for a run on my motorcycle today and happened to pass by PC World. Well, it would be rude not to, so i went in and I was quite taken by the Mac Mini.
I know nothing about Macs but it would be ideal for a little living room PC. The question I have is would it be better to wait for the Intel based Minis or to take advantage of the dropping prices of the G4(?) based machines?
What are the pros and cons of both routes?

Go for the Intel Mac Mini & make sure you up the Ram to at least 1Gb. If you intend to use it in the living room it might also be worth getting the Miglia TV mini USB adapter (or something similar) to allow you to input Freeview TV channels directly into the Mac mini.
I came across this article the other day, it be of interest, it gives a good rundown on setting up the Mac Mini as a home entertainment centre.
