Being blackmailed on ebay

I sold a toy for peanuts basically and the buyer wanted to buy 2 of my other toys, 1 which was unsold for 99p with free postage basically. I said I would sell the 1 to her but not for 99p.

Anyway, she has sent me emails blackmailing me, saying if I didnt agree she would report me for offering to sell outside of ebay and refuse to pay for the item she won. I assume she will now also give me negative feedback!

Is there anything I can do? She has now emailed to say she has reported me now. I am so annoyed

a buyer recently tried this with me, he wanted to use his own courier to collect, i refused stating it would be posted as stated in the listing.

the buyer sent me a message on ebay threatening to leave me a neg if i didn't allow him to buy minus my postage charge.

I simply replied thanking him for his message as it will be very useful in reporting him to ebay for feedback extortion and having any negative feedback he leaves removed as such feedback blackmail is against ebay policy, expecting to be paid the full price of the listing isn't.

He quickly changed his tune and we came to an amicable compromise.

Report her to eBay for abuse and inform her that you have done so.

If the listing was active then she could have bid like anyone else. If it had ended then it's up to you how, and for how much, you sell it (if it was active with bids then that might be more complicated for you).

They say two wrongs never make a right...

... but in this case we might see two birds killed with one stone
