Hi all
I've seen advance tickets for London to Glasgow go for £15 ow and really want to use these in future but live in Bedford and it costs this much to get into London.
If the train from London stops at a station closer to me, e.g. Stevenage/Milton Keynes, could I still get on the train without any trouble if I had a London to Glasgow ticket?
Thanks for any help.

Hi, I'm trying to get from Glasgow - Portsmouth harbour, arriving by noon on Thursday 11 June (so via Caledonian Sleeper), coming back leaving from noon on Monday 15 June. I've made this trip at the same time for the last few years (Isle Of Wight festival) and got some really good deals, but everything's more or less full price at the moment. Any ideas on journey splits etc? The 'Slower but Cheaper' button on thetrainline isn't doing its usual wonders
Number of changes/travel time isn't a major issue.
