Can I cancel sale.

I finished an auction of several items on Sunday night, everyone has paid bar one, I have emailed the buyer tonight asking them to make payment asap as I am waiting to take everything to the post office in one go. Post office is a 15 minute drive away. I have also advised that I am going on vacation on Friday. To be perfectly honest I don't have time for this messing for £1.50 paid for a as new t shirt that cost £30. I have not had any response from this buyer and I am getting a bit hacked off.

I know there is a certain amount of time you have to give them to pay but come on its £1.50. I always pay for my goods instantly and it has never been a problem in the past. The exception is when goods are collected which I am fine with. I have perfect feedback and don't want it ruined but if this person does not pay by lunch time tomorrow I will not be able to post the item as I am working on Thursday all day and leave in the early hours of Friday morning.

What should I do.

I take it back its 99p. I have now emailed and explained tomorrow is the last day I can get to the post office before my holiday and that they are the only one I am waiting payment from. I think possibly ebay is just a complete waste of time, lets face it what profit will I make from this. I never add anything extra for P& P, by the time I pay the paypal fee, ebay listing and end fee I think I will be at a loss.
£2.00 Savers Club = £34.00 So Far

+ however may £2 coins I have saved in my Terramundi since 2000.

The buyer has 7 days to pay, so having them finish on a Sunday night when you know you're going away on Friday wasn't the best plan.

I'd suggest taking the other items to be sent, then this one will have to wait until you get back from holiday.

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

Just send it anyway - if it was only £1.50 and your worried about your feedback - its 50/50 whether they stump up - time ebay / paypal take there slice it will be nearer £1.30 anyway !

To be honest I didn't give much thought, I guess I have always been lucky with my buyers as they have almost always paid within 24 hours. I think I will just send it as I don't want to risk my feedback. If they haven't paid by the time I get back should I do something or just chalk it up to experience.

If you think eBay is a waste of time, why send out a possible freebie for the sake of your feedback?

If you sent me that email I would seriously be considering your feedback no matter what the item is like. Also why set an auction up finishing so close to you going on holiday as others have said buyers have 7 days to pay

If you get negative feedback personally i think it will be deserved with that attitude to buyers

OK, say the troublesome buyer pays on Thursday night, allowing you to post all the items on the Friday... what're you going to say to all the other buyers, who've had to wait a week for you to send their items??? You seem a bit TSFE, to be honest ;)

I think it was a bit stupid listing so close to going on holiday. I would just leave it and send it when you get back. They are aware of this fact. They may have bid and gone on holiday themselves. If they leave feedback just respond to it honestly saying that you kept asking them to pay as you were going away and they never did till too late.

I agree. If everyone else has paid days ago they should have had their stuff by now, so I'd expect your feedback and DSR's may suffer anyway. Your post office is a 15 minute drive away = that's not exactly the end of the world is it.
No, Mr A, that is NOT 'Great news'!!:D

    Wombling totals: Oct = £243.32 - £93.32 over target!
Nov Wombling Tally: £27.36 so far... behind target :(

Completely agree, either you should have sent everything else by now, and left the other one til u come home from holiday, or you should just send it out anyway if its such a loss anyway.
