Search setting notification

Any help would be great.

Most likely these messages are generated to protect your PC from changes that are attempted by addon toolbars that have a search function.

I had the problem. It occurred to me that I had several toolbars that had search boxes. I used REVO Uninstaller and deleted them all... end of problem.

Before this I'd read that the problem is due to malicious programs -- and that I was to run ccleaner or spybot, etc... well I have those programs... and my PC always turned up clean.

Suggest... uninstall addin programs that offer a search feature. If you want a toobar, then delete only the ones that you don't want--chances are you'll eliminate the problem.
