I saw the first trailer for it last week, both DH and I sat there, watched it and said at the same time, "bet we could do it cheaper".

TBH I don't think I will get much out of it that I don't already know but i will be watching the first one to see.

I too remember Shirley Goode back in the 80s when my children were small. She knocked pounds off my food bill. I still have her cookery book. She used to cost everything to the spoonful.

She lived in Leeds as I did at the time and I would occasionally see her in the supermarket. She was a very large lady, very down to earth and I'm sure practised everything she preached. Bring her back!

Excellent. I had half a tin of 4p curry sauce with some value boiled rice one night cant have cost more than 3p...
