ESA medical...please help

Hello,
I have my ESA medical on Friday, but its in Coventry. I live in Wellesbourne, so it's quite far away! They've sent me a bus schedule, but its still a fair walk from the bus station, and I just don't think it's fair...I've been crying all day because I'm so scared anyway, and the travellings just making it worse.

Can they send someone to a hospital near me, or do I have to travel?

Contact them straight away and explain the situation to them. You can ask for a home visit, which would make things much easier for you.

    Good Luck

    hi saucy secrets.
im not entirely sure but i think you have to have a letter from your doctor saying that you need a home visit.you definitely need to contact them if you cant do it.
  • Hello hun. I had mine a few weeks ago in Coventry. They did ask me if I could make it and if I couldn't get there they said I had to send a letter from my GP.

    Good luck hun.

Definitely contact them. I appreciate they can only have so many medical centres but you are ill and shouldn't be expected to travel too far.

I would also see your doctor about it and see if he can write you a letter.

Good luck with the medical :)
