There are no solutions to what I'm about to rant about but I guess I thought if I could let loose anywhere it would be here.

Four days to go and today I found out the following: - one of my oldest friends can't make the wedding cause she's ill - sad but fair enough; My grandparents are now refusing to come as they're scared they won't get home due to the ash cloud (Live on a Scottish island), which is slightly more irritating as I would have thought they could have prioritised it a bit more; so have to re-do the seating plan and personalised favours; My Maid of Honour is travelling up from Southhampton in time for the Hen do on Wednesday and has just discovered her train has been cancelled and she won't make it in time. She also has to spend the night in a London train station - so I'm worried about her cause she doesn't know London very well; My Minister is due to fly back onto the island on Thursday night, and if the ash cloud gets any worse and he misses his flight he won't be able to get here in time for the wedding on Friday; one of my ushers is on the same flight as the minister - so same goes there; discovered we can't go to a couple of the attractions we wanted to on honeymoon cause we left it to late to book, though that may be irrelevant anyway cause we might not be able to go; my dress JUST fits, but not enough so I can actually breath on the day; and there's going to be an effing storm on the wedding day. IN MAY!! Oh and I still haven't heard back from the band!

*deep breath. none of these things alone are insurmountable alone, just all together I feel a bit side swiped by the whole thing. One friend said 'whatever happens, it's not the end of the world - we survived that on Saturday,' and that helps...a little. Not as much as a rant here though!

Good luck to all those getting married soon.

Mine was on the 11th May in Cyprus. 30 of us there.

Morning around the pool, separated at lunch to get ready and met back up at 5pm. Lovely 10 min service with no fluff of hyms and readings. Ceremony out in the gorgeous sunny gardens of the hotel under a lovely parasol. Photos and food after in the hotel restaurant.

Then back home to the UK to have another wedding cake (cupcakes) and to wear my dress again for an evening party with 150 of our closest friends and family!
