Thought I'd pop in to say hi. We're on the 28th, with very little left to do.

We had a nightmare with the bridesmaid dresses; ordered from House of Brides in the USA, and they haven't arrived. Sadly they have a franchised call centre with no information, all they do is say they'll get someone from the company to call you back, but in the past month of us contacting them we've still to receive a call back.

Doing a quick google shows we're not alone in our experience, so I'd avoid at all costs. Fiancee ordered from them, and I wasn't aware of their lack of customer care until the dresses didn't show.

So, last Sunday we sprinted round the M25 to Bluewater and bought replacement dresses from John Lewis - and lovely they are too.

Possibly it was a blessing in disguse as the bridesmaids are vastly different shapes (one pear and one hour-glass), so we struggled to find a dress that suited them both. Potentiall the ordered dresses that didn't arrive may not have suited.

We're currently raising a charge-back dispute with the bank for the dresses which didn't show.



We have our last dance class on Saturday, and we are practising our rumba regularly, and it's looking pretty good.


Just need to get on and get married now!
