Poorgirl, can you answer my question then? If I close my account within a year of opening will I still get paid the interest for the time that the account has been open?

    well im not an expert.

however from my knowledge, the inerest rate is variable, hence you will be paid interest on the rate at the time. You will be paid for the duration of your account, even if you close it within a year, providing you put in a regular amount into the account between £100 -£300 each month and no withdrawls are made.

Just keep an eye on the interest rate, if it drops, close it - thats what i intend to do.
  • Thanks. I suspect the interest will be paid for as long as I have it in there (even if it's less than a year) but just wanted to be sure. I'lls till ask when I open my account to see what they say.
