Yes mate they do! They check Experian and also report monthly to them and Equifax.

cant do much of a search as myn came back within seconds as fine

applied to Vanquis 12 days ago at a weekend ,got a we will be intouch got a call yesterday Have been accepted this is still with adverse data ccj and defaults( both due off in october though). Mark.

With Jd Williams you normally get a 'system generated' limit of £125..search Experian. It then goes to an underwriter hence the fact that occasionally that initial limit is withdrawn.
Doesn't happen very often as they are quite flexible with scoring but it can.
