Hi
Just been surfing and got this message from McAfee virus scan....
Trojan Found
File: zone[1]
Trojan name: Exploit-IEPageSpoof
File path: c:\documents and settings...........(etc)
Status: Cannot be deleted
Verify that the file is not write protected and try again.
.............................................................................................
what the hell am I supposed to do if the virus software can't get rid of it?
I just tried a free trend micro scan on it, but that found nothing.....
any suggestions please???
cheers

Give this a whirl.
Turn off Restore First, Run program then Turn restore back On.

the on access virus scanner has caught it, so I doubt there is anything to worry about, cos it's not there (have a look in explorer)
run https://www.windowsupdate.com, to make sure your PC is patched for exploitsEver get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0 -
it probably can't be removed as the process is running. Reboot into safe mode and run your virus scanner.0
