How to remove no more nails

I have a bay window and the blinds have been fixed to a wooden battern which is stuck with no more nails.

is there anyway of removing the wood without damaging the ceiling?

    I have just removed a batten that was stuck on with no-nails. Half of the glue stayed on the wall and the other half stayed on the batten. There is no way to predict what might happen if you try to remove it.
    Only thing that I can suggest is that you tap in a sharp filling knife behind it and see if it will cut through the no-nails. Trouble is, there will almost certainly be some remnants of adhesive left behind and needing to be removed. This will probably damage the ceiling in any case.
    Someone may be along later with more up to date experience of removing no-nails.
    I can afford anything that I want.
    Just so long as I don't want much.
