I received a goodwill gesture of 488.00 pounds from barclays after claiming hardship.
The amount i requested was 700.00 incl of interest. I think this was a good result.
And I was quite happy with using barclays until i gave a personal reserve which i misused . So the amount paid to me in the goodwill gesture payment covers 270 pounds of personal reserve so i need never use it again.

I have now advised all my friends to put claims in if they havent already.....

Make sure you get Barclays to remove the Reserve from your account as well
Do you know if the refund was charges since they introduced the Personal Reserve?

Dear NatwestBankMember,

The charges that i reclaimed did indeed include personal reserve charges, however, i have been sent a letter stating that they are dealing with this matter seperately.

The amount i have received does not incl;ude any of the charges claimed for using the personal reserve since Aug 2008.

Thanks for the advice will get in cnct with Barclays and have them remove the personal reserve. Thks Rebecca
