PPI and LPI

can anyone please tell me if ppi and lpi is the same, on my loan agreement it says loan protection insurance and before i make a claim i wanted to know if this was the same

    Hi there,;)

    I assume it means the same thing.

    If you think you have been mis sold write to them by giving your reasons, they have 8 weeks to respond in full, keep on at them until you receive the final response which should give details of the financial ombudsman service (FOS) you should be able to take your complaint to the FOS if your not satisfied with the outcome of your complaint, post all letters by recorded delivery.

    PPI is a generic term and covers a range of plans and types. Not all PPIs are mis-sales or problem products. It is the loan payment protection though that often is.
