Explain paypal fees to me?

Can any more experienced Ebayer out there explain Paypal's fees to me?
I've trawled through Paypal's site and found that they charge .20p per transaction. I have been doing a few small Ebay transactions around £2 (just above or below) - I always get charged anything from 0.26p to 0.29p. I've used an (independent?) online Paypal fees calculator (http://www.rolbe.com/paypal.htm), and that seems to agree with the fees I've been charged.
How is this calculated?

I am not sure exactly. But its a percentage of the money that you recieve. If only it was 20p per transaction!

    The fee is 20p + 3.4% . The % reduces above a certain amount I think, down to a minimum of 2.4%.

Thanks Sequence & Mrcol1000 - I thought it may be something like that - makes small transactions hardly worthwhile, once they've all had their share! Ah well, it's a little bit of money in the kitty and a bit less stuff in the house!

Paypal fees are taken from each payment before it goes into your account, so there is no big bill at the end .
