Dogy ebay buyer trying to scam me - what do I do?

Someone with 0 feedback bid and a London address won an item I listed for £110 on Sunday.(I had forgotton to change the settings to stop people without feedback bidding) There were no other bidders.

Since then, I have recieved 2 "Service at Paypal" emails, basically telling me that the money has been taken from the buyer's account and is ready to go into my account once I sent them the shipping number. (Yeah right, of course I'm going to send them stuff before they paid for it  )

I also got this email :

I also got 2 emails from "ebay" (definitely fake cos they're not in my ebay messages).
One says something about the buyer having been suspended but now has their registration reinstated, the other says I have received an unpost item strike, and that if I don't send the item within 24 hours I will be prohibited from using ebay.

What is the best way of dealing with this?

Put in a NPB, get your fees back and relist.

    Oh and block the moron!

Also contact ebay and pass on all the emails, including headers.

Also forward the emails onto spoof@paypal.co.uk and spoof@ebay.co.uk

Oh buy the way you cannoy block zero feedback bidders from bidding on your auctions. Why would you want to we all had to start somewhere. Ive had more problems with people with loads of feedback.

You can block 0 feedback bidders, but only if they do not have a credit registered on file.

It's useful in these situations as well as the "Block bidders registered in countries I do not ship to" - that kills off virtually all our Nigerian friends in two ticks.

That would only block about 50% of them
