Good job I left my purse at home today as I was highly tempted to go and spend at lunchtime and after work. I popped on at lunchtime to declare it a NSD to stop me caving in and it worked, thankfully!

BMF I'm more than happy for you to carry the thread on, it keeps me going on!

Been away the last 10 days so been off the wagon. Managed a no spend day today which I think makes it 7 out of 8. Only 1 more to go.
  • Boo hiss - I did not make my NSD - but have realised why, it cause I'm now using coupons to shop with to save cash - but have only got £5 worth to use each time, so I do lots of small shops, so while I'm spending less I actually spend on more days.

Gonna aim for 10 NSD's in September. Actually don't need to much this month. So should be ok. I think.

Second..:T to those who are reaching target. Well Done Yooze! For those with a little ways to go, just think how much more you would have spent if you'd not been trying out this Challenge! Everyone who at least makes an attempt at this is a winner & half of the fun is finding ways to avoid spending.

Third..if it's okay with yooz guys, I'm going to class Mon & Wed as NSDs even though I had to pay the vet's bills. On the one hand the insurance will pay the biggest lump back after deducting the excess, & on the other it was a spend that could not have been planned in any shape or form. Pup is doing quite nicely & was much calmer having his dressing changed yesterday with--hopefully--BH Monday being the last of it. They had thought he may need sedation to change them but we've now been hailed 'dog whisperers' as we've managed to calm him enough :p
I did go shopping too yesterday for the food I couldn't get Thurs  so I'm counting that as a spend, but not Pup's bill.......does any of that make sense cuz I've completely lost the plot now :rotfl:

That's been my fly in the ointment too Julie..part of me is :jcuz we won't starve till the insurance coughs up but another is :( cuz I'm short on my NSDs.

No NSD for me either as I've done the shopping too.

Aiming not to spend tomorrow and BH then will make the target. No need to go out and spend anything as I have everything I need (must remember this...)

Woo hoo! First time since Dec if I manage this!
