Beauty-istas and fashionistas, help me!
I have read so many times that a silk pillowcase is great for preventing wrinkles (and morning hair)... and as I sleep on my stomach I am a bit worried about what I'm doing to my face!
Can anyone recommend a real silk pillowcase that's fairly cheap? All the ones I've seen are £35+!

I managed to find a pure silk skirt at a charity shop for £2.50. Took it home, cut it up and made my own pillowcase. It took about an hour and it's very pretty too
I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
I was going to suggest the same as consultant31's advice. Look out for a silk scarf, sarong or similiar from a charity shop or car boot and DIY it!0

The quality is probably the same. Both 19 momme, but mine is around £1 cheaper!
The choice is yours! I would recommend you go for white or ivory as dark colours tend to fade. I love sleeping on silk. It is really worth every penny.0 -
I've never heard that before, i do silk painting on cusion covers (not pillow) they are about £4 for hobbycraft if thats any good.It only takes a second to say 'Thanks, you just saved me a few quid!'
