Does not matter which one if you're planning to pay off in full each month but if you are planning to make few purchases then maybe try to get a card with a 0% on purchases0

Try TESCO,they were doing a 0% for 12 months + earn points0

If you are paying off in full every month, the best card to get will be a cashback credit card, that way you can earn a little whilst you are spending.
As you are planning on paying off in full, you don't really need a 0% purchases or balance transfer card.0 -

AMEX Platinum would be best. 5% for the first 3 months and tiered rates thereafter. All petrol stations should accept it no problems.Whilst my posts do not constitute financial advice, I am always, without fail, 100% right!0 -
If you like to go abroad, try the Lloyds TSB airmiles card.Baby Ice arrived 17th April 2011. Tired.com! :j0

If you can make use of the Tesco Clubcard deals (4x), and buy your petrol at Tesco, then that's worth 5% cashback all year...and probably as much as 7% in the first year (with the addition of some savings interest) by 'slow-stoozing' the 12 months 0% on purchases feature.0

Just a pity the Shell Card is no longer accepting applications as 3% on fuel and 1% elsewhere was handy. American Express is the only option now.0

Make sure you set up your direct debit option to "pay in full" each month. Agree with the suggestions of using a cashback card, and amex at 5% is paying the best rate, but I'm always a bit cautious about it not being accepted as widely as visa/mastercard branded cards."Click the pennies. Collect the pounds."0
