Hi, I've started saving about £300 into my Halifax Regular Saver, at 5% fixed for 12 months. (It's a big deal, as I haven't much money). The version currently available is Regular Saver issue 2, which only pays 3.00%, and the maximum you can pay in each month is £250.

The old Regular Saver is paying 3.75% and you can still pay in £500 per month if you've still got one. It's no longer possible to open this old version of the account.
