new laptop

hi,going to my sisters this afternoon to look at her new laptop so thought i,d ask for some advice first.on there old computer they are on dial up with virgin(they have signed up to talk talk but wont get it for three months yet)if i plug their new pooter in to phone line will it automatically dial up to their old conection?or will i have to do something else to get on line?

you need to use the "dial up Networking" wizard to set up the connection details, user-id password + dial up number , to enable them to connect
