Anyone ever used a Hi-Life diners club card? Are they as straight forward as they seem?
I could get one for £40, but i cant work out how long it lasts
On paper it seems like great value for money, but almost too good to be true! If anyone has any experience using one, please let me know!!v:j

The Telegraph is currently running a promotion for a free two month trial of the Hi-life card - you just need to send away a coupon with two tokens from the Telegraph - the first was on Saturday, and there were ones on Sunday, today (Monday) and I believe the last is in tomorrows paper.
The trial also qualifies you for a discount on the annual fee, but I can't remember how much.0 -
I'm happy with my card. I pay £12.50 per quarter and the card can save me that in one visit to one restaurant! The restaurants are supposed to mark your card so that you can only get the discount once a year, but some of my favourite restaurants don't bother so I can get the discount multiple times. Read the terms and conditions carefully though, as there are restrictions. Many eateries won't accept HiLife on Saturdays, or Bank Holidays, or over Christmas.0

ah right, so you're only supposed to use the card in each restaurant once per year?
The FAQ on their website is a little lacking, it only has three or four questions!:o
Thankyou, I'll have a read through the T&C:T0 -
The idea is that members are encouraged to use as many restaurants as possible but, as I said, some businesses are happy to give you multiple discount to keep your custom. You can also use the card at chains, such as Pizza Express.0

Apparently the discount is £40 - so it would cost £29.99 for the year instead of the RRP of £69.99
So if you're interested, it's worth asking around to see if there are any Telegraph readers who still have the tokens and could give them to you......0
