Yeah its a bit old news and the worst site I have ever visited,
but then again I have less money and more sense.

Good on the guy to think of it - but I think advertising on those pixel sites is stupid - i mean who actually looks on them? It did take his family $1000 too for the initial outlay!

Unfortunately this copycat is credited with an original idea which is not.

People have had similar sites about for years before, selling pixel ads and pixel space, unfortunately it turns out that his version turned out to whip up a bit of a media frenzy, therefore self-promoting.

Nice to see someone profiting, it really is, but I don't like people claiming the conception of idea's over others purely because theirs turned out to be the 'most popular'.

He goes to my uni, thankfully I don't know him and I doubt he'd stand out as alot of the students there are driving brand new cars purchased by their parents and wearing designer clothing!

Worst thing is he was getting job offers because of his site. Still, like some one else said, he has more money than me!
