We put our house on the market in Oct. Had an offer few weeks later. December they had to withdraw. Sold again in Jan. Moved to our new home last month. So it took about 5 (very stressful!) months.0

The builder may well be willing to do a part exchange.
More importantly, if you put pour poperty on with the agent that is selling the new build to you, he will be extra keen to find you a buyer so he can make 2 commissions, and he will bend over backwards to hold the chain together.0 -

The builder doesn't do part exchange but I get the feeling they will be fairly agressive with the marketing of the property.0
