Please Help Advice Needed on Credit Card Insurance

Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone can help me with credit card insurance i have a virgin credit card and a company called me and stupidly on my part I took out there insurance which I would preferred not to have done anyway they said I would get a welcome pack and could cancel within 14 days which I planned to do, The problem is this company and not sent me one single piece of information on them and im now paying £15 a month on top of my credit card bill, Because they have not sent any paper work could I claim they money back? the companies name is lifestyle protect

    Youre probably stuck with it for a year. They could have sent you the welcome pack and its possibly got lost in the post. You should have rung them back to cancel it anyway, getting the welcome pack wasnt a provision of cancelling.
    Ring them up and see what they say but like i say i think you will just have to suck it up for a year.

    thanks for posting back, surely if its for a year that should have been mentioned also the problem with ringing back is the number was x directory so had to wait on this pack to get the number, Thanks again

    What does it show on your Virgin statement?
    Have you phoned Virgin to cancel?

    If you are paying it monthly you should be able to cancel it with a months notice.

    This sort of thing is always at least a 12 month contract.

    Dont just cancel the dd though, they will still chase you for the momey

    PPI is usually on a month to month basis, so yes, it should be possible to cancel it with a month's notice...
