Any Credirt Cards that offer 'Extended Warranty'?

Hi

Barclaycard used to offer 12 months Extended Warrantee on electrical items once the 1st 12 months had expired. They no longer do that.

Do any other Credit Cards offer this service - about to make a few big purchases, and need the Extended Warranty - without having to pay rip off prices etc.

Thanks

Nationwide (for most electrical items - there are some exclusions), and more recently, the new Egg Money (although that now charges £1 a month for new customers).

I've used Nationwide for most of my electrical purchases over the last few years. It's underwritten by Pinnacle Insurance. I've never had to make a claim, so can't vouch for how good it is.
