Sky credit card cheques query?

I've been sent some promotional 0% cheques and the promotion ends at the end of this month.
As this is the 27th, I'm cutting it fine to use them, question is.... would the date be taken from the day the cheque was signed and paid into my bank...or from the day it clears?
If it's the latter, then the promo period would be over by the time the cheque cleared.
Edit: Never mind......just checked the cheques and they have today's date...not the end of the month.

I would say that they would have had to be debited to your credit card account on or the day before the end of the promotion.0
