im not too sure if they are in india now, but the accents suggest they are  ??? i always thought they were in Scotland when ive rung them in the past. but today theyve done my bloody head in, ive been trying to upgrade my package to include the sports channels to keep hubby quiet lol, and finally gor through to someone i could just about understand, went through all the procedures of account details etc and finally managed to get the woman to understand what i was calling for, she then proceeds to tell me i cant ungrade because my account is in arrears  ??? so i tries then to ask her how this is possible as the money is collected monthly by DD, we go all aroung egypt and africa until eventually she cuts me off , aaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrggggghhhh, a call of 24 mins and 18secs, that got me nowhere.

by now im a little !!!!!! off, so i call back, my call is then answered by someone i can easily understand and who completely understands what i am requesting, a call of 3mins and 23 secs and all is well, sports channels are now all on, im happy, hubbys happy, and the lovely call center lady wished my a happy new year,

alls well that ends well  ;D ;D ;D ;D

but the other prats needs the sack  >:( >:( :P

ps, my account is not in arrears either, so god knows what she was on about, a little too much egg nog perhaps ::) ::)

If I ever have to phone Sky, I try to do it in the morning. I don't know if it is coincidence or not, but I always get a Scottish voice on the phone then.

Any later in the day, or evening and it's been the dreaded Indian call centre.

At the risk of sounding racist(i'm nothing of the sort) I think it is terrible employing people who cannot speak fluent english as customer service. I am slightly deaf and end up hanging up because i would feel bad asking for "someone who can speak english"

i dont find your comments racist at all, i feel exactly the same i dont care whom i speak to just so long as they understand me and i understand them, ;D ;D ;D ;D
