student loan deduction - never been to uni

Hi,
Firstly apologies if this is in the wrong section but I need some advice.
I got my payslip on Friday and I'd had £11 deducted for a student loan, although I have never been to uni/had a student loan.
I've spoken to our payroll department this morning and the FD and have been chasing them all day. I know its only £11 but its money that I don't owe.
None of them have got back to me so I want to do it myself. Who would I need to contact to get it refunded? I'm assuming its a clerical error with someone with a similar name/NI number
thanks x

The phone number is Tel: 0845 026 2019
there is a probably a non 0845 number if you search for it. Have bank acc details and DOB etc ready.

You will need to get Student Loans to check the records for your national insurance number. If they find it then they will need to get HMRC to stop the deductions. It may take a few months to get sorted as the deductions can't stop straight away as your employer has to keep taking deductions until advised by HMRC.0

I've recently had to get my student loan deductions ended too (after I finished paying it off, woot) and under the current system Student Loans Company can get HMRC to send a 'STOP' notice to your employer very quickly (few days). Hopefully yours will be a clear cut case and be sorted quite quickly (don't forget to chase for the £11 back too but that might take a little longer...)You will need to get Student Loans to check the records for your national insurance number.
