in Credit cards
Hi Everyone,
I am new to forums so be gentle with me.
I need some information and I hope someone out there can help me.
I am currently in a trust deed (scottish equivalent to IVA). I had 2 credit cards and a bank loan which I could not pay so opted for the trust deed. I don't remember ever signing a CCA for either of my credit cards. If they were unenforcable, how would I stand with the trust deed? If I could get the balance on the credit cards written off, would I be able to cancel the trust deed and pay the bank loan?

Beechams - you will get not so nice responses alike those above usually from newbies like you.
Opinions are opinions and everyone is entitled to their own - however, there are strict guidelines about not being nasty to people on this form and the board guides will note the above message. Some people will receive warnings, then black marks and will be suspended.
Best thing to do is to put up your Statement of Affairs (SOA) do a search you will easily find this. Then you'll get a lot of help from others in the know on here as to how to budget better, save money and make extra money.
If you need help with CCA again just do a search for CCA letter or template and again you will find the answers on here. There are technicalities that will stop debts being enforced through courts - not "written off".0 -
Hi Golden Jill,
Thank you for your comments and advice. It is very much appreciated. I take your point about it being a 'technicality' and not being 'written off'.0
