What Can I do here?

Hi all, I was in the process of selling a mobile phone and stated explicitly on the auction to contact me if not from the UK. The eventual buyer, from Lithuania, contacted me just before the auction's end which was too late to get back to them and they completed a winning bid anyway.
If a buyer from the UK won the item, I was only prepared to send by recorded delivery so that the item could be tracked. I've checked with the post office today and they have given me a price of £9.50 to send the mobile phone through their service which will track the item until it leaves the country. However, when it leaves the country it cannot be tracked and they will not insure the item anyway.
I'm stuck. I don't want to send the phone out without a tracking system in case the item is not recieved, and you never know what might happen on the buyer's side regarding this. Am I able to contact the seller, tell them the price but explictly state that there'll be no insurance on it and no comeback if the item doesn't get to them as I will have proof that it left the country? If they agree to that, will I be clear from any comeback?
Thanks in advance.

Nope, they can agree to anything you like but if you can not prove it was delivered and signed via an acceptable method (to Paypal) then they can do a chargeback no matter what.2 angels in heaven :A0

You are responsible for getting the item to the buyer. So if its not insured he can claim through paypal if they do not receive it. So you will not be covered no matter what.
Even recorded delivery in this country is not really worth much. If the mobile is worth over £39 you need to send them Special delivery
So you have two choices you send the item and take the risk. Or you dont and risk a neg and NPB. I think it all depends on the amount you have sold the mobile for. Can you afford to loose the money and the phone (which is a possibility if you send it) On the other hand it could all be fine.
I never sell mobiles out of the UK. Due to insurance issues and all the Scams. You can set your buyer preferences to exclude non uk buyers bidding. Which I recomend you do0 -
Is there still the option in a dispute along the lines of "Buyer requested delivery to a country I do not ship to?"<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0
