Puzzled, used saynoto0870 but still charged???

Hello
This isn't a big issue but I'm curious. Our deal with virgin/ntl means we get all landline calls free (well, included in the monthly package) but we pay extra for 0844 or 0870 numbers.
So, last month I used the saynoto0870 website to get a landline number for a helpline. I dialled 0207, and was on for over an hour. Now we've got the bill through and it's listed along with all the mobile numbers and 0870 type numbers (for which we get charged). I got charged 52p, which isn't bad, so I'm not complaining, but I am curious how come I've been charged at all when I rang 0207, which is a landline.
Has anyone else come across this, or can anyone explain it please?

You were charged because your call exceeded 60 minutes. You need to Re-dial before 60 minutes to avoid call charges on calls to 01/02/03 numbers.0
