Shocked, today received a a phone call fron Nationwide.
Sincerely apologetic.
They have offered us to repay £10 a month with no court action.
She said she picked the file up to go through and was shocked by the way it had escalated.

I bet they are.
To be honest if you are on benefits, then £10 per month is more than they are entitled to.
And they would get a kicking from the OFT for pursuing you once they knew your situation if you made a formal complaint.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0
