Anything can go in a suitacase....if it fits.

Do you mean 'what won't my airline allow me to take' and 'what am I allowed to take into a foreign country'?

If so, check out the websites of the airline and the country that you are visiting.

All the airport websites have detailed answers to both of your questions.

    best advice from zazen999 & clark80.

From your post it sounds like you're not used to air travel so it might be a good idea to check out your airline's website to see what luggage allowance/dimensions/restrictions there are.

The dimensions of hand luggage allowed varies between airlines, as does the weight.

Also some airlines operate a strict 'one piece of hand luggage' policy.

Make sure you're not caught out at the airport. ;)

This is a broad subject but here are some suggestions about things that cant go into your hold luggage.

    Weapons of mass destruction
    Rabid badgers
Giant haystacks, both the wrestler and the haystacks themselves.
A plane bigger than the plane your sitting on, ie i would'nt suggest putting a boeing 747 in your baggage if you are travelling on an 737.
Water out of a container, actually any liquid out of a container
    Fire
Sharks or any other angry fish
A bag full of money, cos you're going to lose it
    Clostrophobics
    Eggs

I could go on but im bored now.

Agreed, badgers themselves are ok but badgers with ANY virus or infection really aren't a good idea.

No badgers are ok they are the most evil creatures known to man, I have written a report to gordon "slack jaw" brown and explained that he could pull all of the troops out of afghanistan and fly in a few hundred badgers and the black and white fury ninjas would sort the taliban out, of course they would actually wipe everyone out but hey at least the bad the guys would be sorted too! Come to think of if have you ever noticed that bin laden's beard looks like a badger?

Perhaps we should start a petition to get the government to actively encourage people to put badgers into their luggage?

I *think* you will find that provided that badgers are declared to be at the later non-contagious stage of any virus or infection and you take them in cabin baggage then you should be ok.**

I still would'nt trust em, when was the last time you heard of a badger doing any good, well apart from the increasing the wealth of my mechanic after picking bits of badger out of my engine.

Hell even the badger in wind in the willows was a grumpy git, always bossing people about who the hell did he think he is, what because hes bigger than rattie, moley and toad of toad hall he thought he was the man, sod him, toadie had the financial ability to but a house for gawd sakes and he was an amphibian and where did badger live? in a hole, yay badger my how you have evolved darwin would be soooo proud of you.

Anyway in conclusion dont take badgers on holiday as they will probably spoil it for you and potentially take the keys from your hire car away because he thinks your not mature enough to drive

Mr Bear, with all due respect, I feel it quite unfair that you have decided to tar all badgers with the same brush. There is good and bad to be found in all walks of life. Have you thought about counselling to deal with your issues re: badgers?
