thanks all
well yesterday was the 1 Aug
I didn't have an alcohol free day (but that wasn't planned as I knew we were going to friends) drank a bit much wine but had a fun night- felt a bit rough this am. Only spent £5 yesterday - half of the taxi fare with OH
Today has been no spend and no alcohol
Have been on dooyoo and done another review - keep trying to catch up with rating people as I want to get my others rated number higher. Have done a few reviews and surveys.
Have made bread and done some washing. Will be making Slimming World pasta carbonara tonight for tea with mushrooms and courgettes
Off to update my sig.
Working at home tomorrow but also planning to sort the bathroom and do some more batch cookingBack to comping! July wins: Frylight August wins: Pixar DVD, Diesel Watch,£75 hamper brioche products September wins bath soak

Just a quicky
Been working all morning so popped upstairs for a quick go on surveys and dooyoo. Made 2 more credit card payments.
Will go and do some lunch in a bit and prepare veggies for tea
I have made myself a promise that I will put 5 things on ebay tomorrowBack to comping! July wins: Frylight August wins: Pixar DVD, Diesel Watch,£75 hamper brioche products September wins bath soak

hi and well done for the progress so far, i think i may insist that OH finds out his playstation 2 games today so i can list them either for the works notice board or for ebay.0
-
Have done some more onepoll surveys and a £1 valued opinions yesterday. Still haven't got round to ebay - I will list 5 things today!
Have a MS later so out for tea which will be refunded which is nice
Have decided I need to be honest here. Had my LBM ages ago and then pottered along in the same old way, still going on holiday on credit cards etc
At April this year our total loans and credit cards (not mortgage) were 97k which is horrendous and about the same as they were 2 years previously
I finally feel like I am making progress as I have reduced them all by nearly 4000 since April. I am finally taking control of this.
Now onto the house! (and the SW weight loss - which I finally went back to class last night) Is it too tough to pay off debts, delutter and lose weight at the same time - or will the three help each other? So - if I drink less, I spend less and lose weight. If I tidy more, I burn calories - hmmm think I may have a best selling book here!

Geranium
Totally relate to where you were and where you are going. You've made the first dent and it's so good to see the figure going down.
I think changing all three different aspects of your life have a knock on effect with each other. I know some people say one thing at a time, but I've decided it's the all or nothing for me.
Catch up with you later - hopefully you are ebaying right now !DC.

i agree with DC, by decluttering you find stuff that you can sell which helps the debt, when you're happier with the space you live in it makes you feel more enthused to tackle other things such as weight loss.
well done for taking control, there's many of us who have flickering lightbulbs in the first year, i know mine certainly flickered, but you've made a good start into your debt which will help to keep you going so you can see more changes to it.0 -
thanks guys for the encouragement - and I did it (you must be psychic DC!!) I have listed 5 things on ebay!
I do feel better already - and have been working out how much more spare income we will have in 12 and 24 months time - which will make life sooo much easier!
Off now for a MS at a pub for tea!Back to comping! July wins: Frylight August wins: Pixar DVD, Diesel Watch,£75 hamper brioche products September wins bath soak

Good day
Been paid 16.25 for a MS, tea last night on our MS was really nice. Just ordered broadband unlimited (we use it a lot!) and phone from PO so not only will that save cash (we could pay 20- 25 just for broadband at the moment with MAAF) - now getting unlimited and phone for 24.95 plus a new router which will hopefully improve our service.
Have a couple of watchers on 2 items I put on ebay yesterday - am aiming to put another 5 things on today, clean the bathroom, get lots of work done, do a couple more surveys, and a dooyoo review.Back to comping!
